Sounds like...The Artist

As a huge fan of Prince I am always searching for his influence in other's music. I listen to a lot of different music and it never cease to amaze me how his influence spans genres and generations. From the Linn drums, punk rock guitars, new wave, funk basslines, to pitched up vocals, he's everywhere in so many things I listen too. I wanted to connect the dots of his influence by compiling a mix of select songs that bare a strong resemblance to his work.  A few of these songs are covers and some songs sound like they are covers because they are heavily indebted to his work. Enjoy!

Crazy You - Onsulade
If I Take You Home - Van Hunt
White Knuckles - Ok Go
I Would Die 4 U - Luna is Honey
Missin’ You - Joi
The Charade - D’Angelo and The Vanguard
